In this story, there is no end.
The story of healing, growing and wounds to mend.
It's continuous, it's forever, its woven within.
It's the found belief that changing isn't a sin.
It's trusting in truth,
letting go of pains from youth &
telling the story-
of God's fruitful glory.
It's surpassing expectations
once you have the revelation,
That life's greatest pleasure
is letting go of the measure.
Trying to keep up or fall into luck,
but wind up defeated, heated and worn out
Questioning, finally, if this is what life is really about.
The rat race, the medals, the mediocre smiles.
The fake fans that desert you
when you collapse in your last mile.
Now you've got no one, your left on your own
What do you do?
Stay small with pity or stand up and grow.
The choice is yours, it's not simple to make.
But to me standing up is the risk I will take.
To no longer feel this way - sad and insignificant,
Taking each step towards my magnificence.
I'm not giving up. I'm not backing down.
I'll keep going until I'm wearing my crown.
Heaven's my destination.
I'm not going back
to my world that was once full of chaos, yet,
completely in lack.
I choose abundance
and to believe that I am worthy.
Looking to God
instead of this world when I am thirsty.
The truth is mine -
it's there for the taking.
And as I take hold - my future unfolds.
Full of promise and potential.
I get out of my mental
and into my heart.
This is it. I'm home.
The place to start.
To run the race marked out for us -
it's no easy task.
But to accept the truth,
Is to find your freedom at last.
